研究领域为高能物理实验，开展基于Belle和Belle II实验数据的物理研究，包括底夸克偶素能谱、奇特强子态、（粲）重子物理、超出标准模型的新物理等方面。
Belle II 实验是由27个国家和地区共同开展的大型国际合作实验，成员超过1000名，实验基地位于日本科学城筑波市的高能加速器研究机构（KEK）。Belle II实验是目前世界上对撞亮度最高的正负电子对撞实验，主要研究正反物质不对称性、味物理、新物理等。Belle II实验于2019年开始获取数据，目前正处于物理数据采集的黄金阶段。
